Federal Judge Sebastián Casenello announced today that Prosecutor General Alejandra Gils Carbó has abided by protocol in her appointment of acting prosecutors, rejecting the notion that she be brought to court. Carbó had been accused of irregularities in her delegation of prosecutorial positions, allegedly hand-picking district attorneys and other officials at her sole discretion.
