Yesterday Labour Minister Carlos Tomado opened a first meeting in 2013 with CGT representatives. The agenda of the meeting was devoted to social and labour issues as a follow up of the negotiations started on 10 December 2012.
Regarding to the income taxes, the Ministry assured, they were analysing an impact on salary levels.
Later CGT raised the need to address the segmentation of the family allowance system. Both the CGT and the Ministry agreed to continue with the defense of employment and the need to maintain the buying power of salaries and improving income distribution.
